Mike has made clear where he stands on the issues:
Frisco is the political crossroads for three US Congressional Districts. In 2004, the GOP political bosses in Washington D.C. backed a lifelong Democrat party switcher in a Republican Primary for one of these congressional districts. Their congressman of choice refused to change any of his political views and had the most liberal voting record of any Republican in the State of Texas. The National Republican Congressional Committee in traditional beltway style was able to intimidate all of the Republican candidates out of the race except Mike. He didn't back down from the D.C. politicians and fought for conservative values. Read how Mike fought for Texas Conservatives (Dallas Observer)
There are 4 State Legislative districts in our area. Three are in Denton County (HD63, HD64, and HD65) and the one in Collin County contains the eastern half of the city of Frisco (HD70). The representation in Collin County has remained staunchly conservative while the representation in our area of Denton County has increasingly become less and less conservative. Look at the ratings from the conservative groups below and decide if you are getting representation of your values. The record from the last session speaks for itself:
